49 more Lok Sabha MPs were suspended for disrupting proceedings, reducing the opposition's strength in the lower House by two-thirds. So far, 141 opposition MPs have been suspended. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said a 'complete purge' was being executed to ensure the passage of 'draconian bills' without debate. The MPs suspended on Tuesday included Farooq Abdullah, Shashi Tharoor, Manish Tewari, Karti Chidambaram, Dimple Yadav, Supriya Sule, S Jagathrakshakan, DNV Senthil Kumar, Giridhari Yadav, Danish Ali, and Sushil Kumar Rinku.
