2.3 crore screened for BP, cancers in 1 year under Modicare

Over 1.3 crore people have been screened for diabetes, hypertension and common cancers like oral, breast and cervical cancer in the last one year at around 10,000 health and wellness centres (HWCs), the preventive healthcare arm of the government’s flagship Ayushman Bharat scheme.
