Foil ex parte NRI divorces, NCW appeals to Sushma Swaraj

National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma on Wednesday wrote a letter to Swaraj saying, “The commission has come across a large number of complaints where ex parte divorce decrees have been passed by the foreign courts and in a number of cases, such decisions are taken on the grounds currently not available for obtaining a decree of divorce in India.”
